Idea Generation 
This product is a cell phone case with a built in chip to track a phone.  It is for when you misplace your phone and it is on silent, or you don't have another phone to call yours to make it ring.  The case will come with a remote control transmitter that will have a magnetic strip so you can stick it on your refrigerator and always know where it is. When you press the button on the transmitter it will send a signal to the chip in the phone case making a beeping noise so you can locate it. The transmitter works within a 100 foot radius of the chip and works through walls, cushions, etc. I will work with cell phone companies to make different cases for different phones.

A stylish case for your cell phone to protect it from accidents and allows you to find it where ever you may have misplaced it!

Testing
This product will be tested on different age groups to help select a target market. The target market can be anyone with a cell phone, but we would like to narrow it down to a specific age group, either teens, young adults, adults, or the elderly.  We will provide them with a prototype case for their phone and allow them to use it for one month before they report back on the product.


Business Analysis
Cell phone cases from cell phone carriers range from $9.97 to $49.99, while the same cases can be found on websites such as amazon.com for much less.  Regular tracking devices go for anywhere between $21 and $149.  The price of this product will have to be in the normal range for a cell phone case so they it is still a reasonable purchase for consumers.

Product Development
To develop this product we will have to work with different cell phone carries and cell phone case companies to implement our chip into their design to fit different phones. 

Test Marketing
The case will be tested for durability, phone protection, battery life of the transmitter,  and signal strength. Individuals from the selected target market will be selected to do a final test run on the product.

Commercialization
The case can be advertised on the radio, TV, magazines, in stores that sell cell phones and cases, and billboards. It would start with a slow roll out of the product in different areas of the country.  If the product proves to be successful we will launch a national advertising campaign.
